#SDC265 My Favourite Stamp, week 2. Kate Crane's Beach Huts.

I am lucky enough to live in a beautiful part of the Uk, on the South coast between Portsmouth and Southampton in a little village called Warsash. The sea and beach provides much inspiration for my 'other artwork'....acrylic paintings incorporating locally sourced driftwood.( see my Facebook page or Etsy Page Moggymeezart.
So, I am really excited to combine my two styles for this weeks challenge at Stampotique using Kate Crane's beach hut stamp.

I stamped the beach huts onto a piece of driftwood, then glued it onto a piece of mount board, then painted the beach huts and the beach scene in acrylic paints. I love the texture and dimension that driftwood gives, not always captured in a photo.

  2. This is stunning, Maria. I initially thought the same thing as Gay - that you had sewn or embroidered them. So, so beautiful. Thanks for joining us again at the Stampotique Designers Challenge blog. :)
