Kate's Angel Canvas
This was my first piece made using Stampotique...with the gorgeous 'Kate's Angel' stamp by Kate Crane.
I painted a black canvas using various Pebeo acrylic paints, including some iridescent ones, which show up really well on a dark background. I used a heat gun to bubble some of the green paint at the top.
I stamped 'Kate's Angel' onto mouldable film and painted the reverse using white and red acrylic paint, I then gently heated the wings, so that I could lift them slightly.
I stamped my 'Little Claire's' sentiment onto brown paper, then tore it into sections and went around the edges with white acrylic paint and a black fine liner pen.
Finally I used two Tim Holtz die cuts for the ground beneath the Angel and her halo, then stick everything down.

I LOVE STAMPOTIQUE!

Over the last year or so, I have discovered a range of stamps from America called Stampotique. I love them because  they are quirky, different, fun and a little bit dark.
I have to say that since my discovery, my other stamps have taken a bit of a back seat, but only because, I am now slightly obsessed with the great designs offered by Stampotique and the wonderful inspiration provided by their very talented design team.
Each fortnight, there is a different challenge on http://stampotiquedesignerschallenge.blogspot.co.uk so I have entered my projects, (coming in the top three several times).
I would like to share  my projects with you here.
